CONSERVATION THROUGH CULTURE

Rewilding forests and sharing its wisdom to super power young minds.

Sacred Forests brings stories of nature into Super Chill.
Super Chill transforms them into nature-based exercises that support children’s mental resilience.
Brings Indigenous forest wisdom closer to home.
Mental resilience exercises for kids to reconnect to nature.
Nature and mental wellbeing go hand in hand -  but in the modern world, that connection is easily lost.
Indigenous cultures - their wisdom and ways of living - offer valuable insights that can enable the wider world to reconnect with the natural world.

These stories normally remain inaccessible, but together with our partners -  the Indigenous Arhuaco people, and in partnership with Super Chill - a free app for a calm and fresh mind for kids, we brought this wisdom closer to home.

With a growing body of research that indicates an individual's mental well-being in part correlates to their ‘connectedness’ with the natural world, the collaboration revives that sense of connection by cross-pollinating ancient stories with modern storytelling techniques.
Watch the original story upon which the exercises were based. Filmed by Colectivo Yosokwi, an Arhuaco production company,  you’ll see the Mamo sharing a story about Felines in Iku, the Arhuaco language.
Featuring a series of 5 immersive meditations and breathing exercises, the collaboration introduces European kids to the Arhuaco concept of Sein Zare - an innate sense of the calming connection to all life.
